Application for #JuanForFun2017 is now open!

Do you love traveling? Are you up for some challenges? Can you travel for 7 days on a tight budget? If your answer is yes then you just might win a 1 year Travel-all-you-can pass!

Yes, you’ve read that right. Travel for free: anytime, anywhere for ONE WHOLE YEAR!

So what’s the catch? It’s very simple. You and your team will plan and strategize you trips based on your given travel allowance, doing activities while enjoying and exploring the limitless beauty the Philippines has to offer. Simple right? Not really. Take it from me who has tried doing their backpacking challenge for 3 days and 2 night. (Read my Masbate Backpacking Journey here). But it’s definitely the biggest adventure you’ll have, trust me.

Now on its sixth year, Cebu Pacific is officially opening its door for entries to its ultimate backpacker challenge, “ #JuanForFun2017 Backpacker Challenge.”

The ‘Juan For Fun’ Backpacker Challenge will once again give more young juans the adventure of their lives in an epic, seven-day fun race across the country—visiting some of the country’s most beautiful islands.

HOW TO APPLY

Form a team of 3. All participants must be a college or postgraduate student aged 18-23. You can be from different colleges or universities.

Since a lot of you guys are asking about the qualifications, here it is:

Enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program in a college or university in the Philippines for the school year 2016-2017 or 2017-2018 or who are graduates of school year 2016-2017

Create a video of your team answering this question: “How can you share the FUN in Juan for Fun?” Remember, be as creative as you can!

Fill up the registration form and submit. Check out the full details here.

Application is open until May 15, 2017 (11:59 Ph time) only so go ahead and create that inspiring and awesome video!

THE PRIZE

Ten lucky teams will be selected from the video entries. They will undergo a workshop under the pilot ‘Juan For Fun’ Academy, where they will be trained to be real backpackers and travel bloggers—or blogpackers. The training will include how to plot their own travel itinerary, capturing pictures, writing blog posts and creating videos, and effectively sharing these on their social media pages.

So what is the grand prize? You’ve already read it but let me just remind you: the prize at stake here is a 1 year Travel-all-you-can pass!!! And that’s for each member. How awesome can that be?
