All great things happen at the most unexpected time. I totally agree with this. There’s just something great about anything spontaneous. Right after our Intramuros tour, we headed towards Manila Cathedral and as shameful as it may sound, it’s my first time visiting the place and I was just in complete awe. It was so beautiful.
While walking around the place, we noticed these floor lights and my friend Er had a nice idea of shooting using these lights. And the result was just unexpected. The shadow play was insane. So I now present to you our conceptual photography shoot, The Trinity
Our life revolves on three phases. Life. Death. Resurrection. And within the boundaries of these phases lies the great explanation to our very own existence.
Why are we alive? What is our purpose? This is a general question that unravels the mystery as to why we are here. Life is very simple. But its simplicity strings around a complexity we cannot understand. As to why we live? That is the greatest question whose answer we shall unfold.
For some reasons, I never feared death. You should never fear death. Instead, let death fear you. That’s one of my philosophies in life. Because I believe that the more you fear death, that harder it’ll be. Why not welcome it with open arms? After all, it can be your best friend.
Do I believe in the afterlife? Perhaps. I don’t know actually. But I do believe that death is not the end of our existence. Something shall happen after it. As to what that is, it could be resurrection, it could also be not. Either way, we shall all come back.
The Trinity is a complete cycle. No one knows when or where it will end. Life. Death. Resurrection. It’s all up to us.

Like I’ve mentioned, this was not a planned shoot. Everything happened in a snap. And before we even came up with The Trinity, we had so much fun at the shoot. It was all fun and games for us. Well, that’s how a shoot should be for me. You should have fun while doing it. Anyways, here are some of our crazy and wicket shots!
