Tourists who come here for a couple of days, consider the “Walk of Fame” on Hollywood Boulevard to be one of the most fun things for couples to do in Los Angeles. However, there’s more to Los Angeles than just the Hollywood Boulevard. It is so multifaceted that everyone can make up their own idea of this amazing city. It is truly a perfect place for a couple. So where exactly should you go? Here’s a quick rundown of must visit places in Los Angeles that will make your trip a romantic getaway.
WHERE TO GO: MUST VISIT PLACES
GETTY CENTER

You should better start with a general picture, so the number one of the things to do for couples in Los Angeles is to visit the Getty Center. It is a museum on top of a mountain where art connects with nature. A visit to Getty will be the most unforgettable impression of the whole trip. You will pass on an unmanned train to the top of the mountain, simultaneously studying the winding road (freeway 405.) The view of the boundless ocean and the panorama of the whole immense LA will take your breath away.
MALIBU

Do not miss a chance to rent a cabriolet and drive up the 1st Highway aka Pacific Coast Highway north towards Malibu. This trip will not leave you indifferent. On Malibu Pier, you should overeat with crabs and local fish, having been caught today, and make a few stops on the beaches. Of course, Point Dume and Zuma beach are places that cannot be ignored in Malibu. Point Dume is a cape that proudly protrudes into the ocean north of LA. Just imagine that you are standing on the top of the mountain, and the ocean is around you at 240 degrees. It is just practically a session of psychotherapy. And, in winter, you will be able to see migrating gray whales.
FARM MARKET
To experience the local flavor, be sure to visit the farmers’ markets. It is considered as a historical site and a tourist attraction. In the market, you can talk with farmers, try seasonal fruits, vegetables, herbs and even almond pasta. There’s more than a 100 stalls and you can even find exotic cuisine.
BEVERLY HILLS
Talking about things to do in Los Angeles for couples, in the evening, visit the areas of Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. Everywhere you will find elegant restaurants with expensive cars at the doors, boutiques of famous fashion designers, and everything that can be used to make a pleasant evening.
If you have enough time, park the car in one of the good areas, for example, Santa Monica, Venice, Brentwood, Beverly Hills and walk a couple of sections on foot. Real local life begins with this half-decent simplicity, pink bougainvilleas, hanging from the roofs, with narrow streets and red stop signs, with old cars under local oaks, and with all these details.
TRIP TO THE BEACH

While in the area, don’t forget to visit the beaches. Manhattan Beach (within Los Angeles) and Laguna Beach (one and a half hours drive towards Orange County) will win your heart no less than famous beaches such as Santa Monica or Malibu. Run barefoot on the hot sand to the cold and, sometimes, even icy ocean, eat an acai bowl with fresh fruit instead of lunch, and then walk around cozy streets hand in hand.
WHERE TO STAY
There’s a lot of hotels and hostels in the area. But it is recommended that you choose an area around the central (though it’s usually pricier) so you won’t have to spend a lot of time traveling around the city by transport.
Choose the type of housing that suits you. For example, in the most popular area of Beverly Hills, you will find one of the best hotels in Los Angeles for couples: SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills. The design of its double rooms is unique, and larger mirrors create the more romantic atmosphere in the room, a NY cleaning service and the lighting system provides built-in elements of illumination. If you are looking for a spa for couples in Los Angeles, you can find it in this hotel as well. You will be offered a wide range of beauty and massage treatments, the choice of places for an evening rest at the hotel is also huge.
You’ll never run out of places to visit in the land of fame. If you are a couple who is looking for a romantic getaway, Los Angeles is definitely for you! Enjoy your staycation!
Cheers~!
