If you still haven’t found the perfect place to celebrate the heart’s day, then better check out Chelsea Grand Cafe in Serendra, Bonifacio Global City. It’s just across Saboten. And in case you’re wondering, although Chelsea Grand Cafe might seem similar to Chelsea Kitchen (since they’re from the same group of restaurants), Chelsea Grand Cafe offers different dishes. More of Western and European.

The restaurant will welcome you with a grand door which I really love. It’s so inviting. Upon entering, you’ll notice the rustic but classy ambiance of the resto which is based on the Chelsea Market (hence the name) in New York. At the center, there are shelves filled with products such as breads and pasta that you can order.

While waiting for your meal, they’ll serve you with a complimentary bread, buttered garlic and vinaigrette.

There’s a lot to love about Chelsea Grand Cafe. Favorite picks include their chiperones and chicken wings. And I must say that their NY Cookie Dough Cheesecake is a total killer. You just can’t hate it. There’s something about it that’s so addicting. And yes, it’s the same cheesecake in Chelsea Kitchen (it’s available in almost every Raintree Restaurant).

The Fondue Love

This Valentine’s Day, Chelsea Grand Cafe is offering a special fondue for you and your partner. You can choose between cheese and chocolate (or why not both?). What’s special about this fondue (aside from the awesome presentation) is that it can make your date extra special. How? Just imagine this setup: you take some of the meat, dip it in the cheese fondue and tease your partner. Now who wouldn’t love that seriously?

For Php 795, you can order the Garlic Cheese Fondue which is this large serving of meat and veggies paired with garlic cheese dip. It includes bacon-wrapped asparagus, shrimps, mushrooms, cauliflower, marble potatoes to name a few.

If you are the sweet tooth or if you just want to be extra sweet, you can go for the Chocolate Orange Fondue (Php 550). It has dried apricots, waffles, marshmallows, nuts, fresh fruits, cookies and brownies paired with molten Callebaut Chocolate with Orange.

Overall, the experience was amazing. You just have to love the fondue. It was exciting and new and something to look forward to this V-day. But the celebration doesn’t stop there. They currently have an on-going promo wherein you may win a special gift.
