What if you could own an entire villa for a staycation? Here’s my review of Caipirinha Villa Boracay, a tale of what a $500 (Php 23,000) per night stay feels like.
As part of our Boracay escapade, we stayed at two different places: the Azalea Hotels and Residences Boracay (read my full review here) and the Caipirinha Villa. When you go to a perfect island like Boracay, might as well splurge yourself by getting the best out of your budget.
THE PRICE TAG
I know you’re like: $500 what? That’s too expensive for an overnight stay! No, no, no… but before you roll your eyes and close this blog because it’s giving you mini heart attack, I have to say that’s it pretty worth it. Besides, it has 7 bedrooms with a super awesome master bedroom, a toilet and a walk-in-closet that’s as wide as the entire bedroom itself. The entire villa can accommodate up to 15 pax so dividing it to $500 or Php 23,000 and it will just cost around $33.33 or Php 1,500 per head per night! Crazy cheap I know. But that’s not just it. It has a wide infinity pool with an overlooking view of the beach, a pool bar, a jacuzzi, and get this: 5 on-call house staff and driver that can help you with almost anything, from cooking to laundry to even buying groceries! It has everything you could possibly ask for.

A LUXURIOUS LIFE
You’re very excited, I know so let’s cut the chase. Here’s what the villa looks like during the day and at night. I really love it at night especially with all the lights at the pool area. It’s also customize-able depending on your preferences. Just feel free to ask the house staff.
Bought a new baby: a dome! Took me around 50+ shots before getting it right. Need more practice!

WHAT I LOVE
Everything!
I won’t be biased but you just have to love everything about Caipirinha Villa.
WHAT I DON’T LOVE
Location is a bit far for the beach
Road is a bit too steep
If there’s one thing that I didn’t like about it, it’s the location. It’s situated at Diniwid Hills, roughly 30-minutes away from the beach. While it’s great if you want privacy but commuting to the area can be tough. Also the road going to the villa is quite too steep so better be careful.
RATES
The rate is subjected to change depending on availability and season but price range is around $500-$1000 (average of $600/night). Check here for the current rates and promo.
