If you want a place to thrift shop, Baguio City is the right place. I have always been told that it’s a haven for thrift kings like me. So when I arrived in Baguio (read my Touchdown Baguio story + style post here), it’s a must to pay a visit at their popular night market.
Coming from a place where I’m surrounded by thrift shops with prices ranging from Php 300 to as low as Php 5, I have huge expectations from the night market in Baguio City. But as soon as we dropped by, trust me, it didn’t disappoint. It was indeed a heaven.
Located along Harrison Road (it’s just near Burnham Park), the night market opens around 9pm until 12mn. It occupies the right lane up to the igorot garden. Price ranges from Php 10 up to a thousand depending on the item (shoes are a bit pricey here but if you’re looking for branded boots, they have a huge selection). Take note also that most of the items sold are winter clothes such as jackets, cardigans and parkas. But don’t worry, the night market has a long stretch so you’ll definitely find something you’ll love (there’s even some toys!).
There’s also a wide range of accessories such as charms, bracelets and dream catchers.
More than just clothing items, Baguio City Night Market is filled with street foods as well. From corndogs to mami to sisig (you should try this one), you have plenty of options to choose from to fill in your hunger. If you’re looking for a place to have a rest and eat, you could check the igorot garden at the east side of the grandstand. It’s a small park with chairs where you can rest for a while.
After checking out Baguio City Night Market, I finally understood why thrift shops is almost synonymous to the city. It’s indeed worth visiting. I was able to buy 2 blazers which is perfect for this coming semester for just Php 70 (it was originally Php 100 but I managed to haggle with the kind lady) and a button down shirt for Php 50.
If you need haggling tips, do check out this simple guide I made: Ukay-Ukay: A Guide To Thrift Shopping
Next on my Baguio City Journal: A trip to the Rose Garden and Strawberry Farm. Keep following my adventures!
Cheers~!

Hi, I was just checking out your website and submitted this message via your feedback form. The feedback page on your site sends you messages like this to your email account which is why you are reading my message at this moment right? That’s the most important accomplishment with any type of online ad, getting people to actually READ your message and that’s exactly what I just accomplished with you! If you have an ad message you would like to promote to lots of websites via their contact forms in the U.S. or anywhere in the world let me know, I can even target specific niches and my prices are very reasonable.
